Resume

I have always loved to write and create worlds of my own imagining. I daydream constantly and, as much as I hate to admit it, it has gotten me in trouble a multitude of times. However, many of the daydreams have come true. Below, you can see some accomplishments and pieces of written works.

Currently, I am working on my own book, which I hope to turn into a series. I am a book collector and have more than 650 books. I enjoy writing and long to make it a life-long career.

The Crimson Quill

When I was a freshman in college, we were asked to write a memoir about a strength we obtained throughout our life. I wrote about my mentor who had committed suicide a few months prior. The essay was published in IUP's "The Crimson Quill," which was available in print and online editions.

Sophomore year, I conducted my first research thesis and essay. I chose the topic of mass shootings throughout the U.S. and how the media had portrayed the blame to be on everybody and everything except those holding the gun.

"If that's so, how does one find any humanity in or for a man who kills six-to-seven-year-olds and shows no remorse? How does one find humanity and remorse for boys who kill fellow students and then laugh about it? How does one forgive a man for taking the lives of people just because they're simply different than him?" (Excerpt from "The Blame Misplaced")
